On the other side of the Atlantic, both Italians and Czechs spend the least about of time inside, with only 5 percent of 2,010 people who stay under a roof for 21 – 24 hours.
Researchers at Denmark’s Aarhus University found inside air is up to five times more polluted than outside air because of cooking, cleaning, showering, candles, and drying clothes, Velux said.
