国家语言资源监测与研究中心（the Chinese National Language Monitoring and Research Center ）、商务印书馆（the Commercial Press）等联合主办的“汉语盘点2019”揭晓仪式12月20日举行。
The Chinese character "wen," meaning stability, has been chosen by Chinese netizens as the character of the year for 2019, and "me and my motherland" as the phrase of the year.
“稳”、“我和我的祖国”分别当选年度国内字、国内词。
The character "nan," or difficulty and the phrase "trade friction" were chosen as representatives of international affairs.“难”、“贸易摩擦”分别当选年度国际字、国际词。
