Meghan Markle is known for her impeccable style but one recent public outing raised questions about her choice of shoes.

　　During her appearance at her first-ever Royal Ascot, the Duchess of Sussex wore a white shirt dress and a pair of black leather pumps - which appeared to be a size too big for her feet.

　　However, according to fashion expert Harriet Davey, what appears to be a faux pas may actually be an intentional decision made with comfort in mind.

　　Acknowledging that it can be difficult to walk in shoes that are too big, Davey revealed: “A trick of the trade is to stuff the toe with padding like tissue or cotton wool, and this can be taken out once they feel like they need a bit more room in their shoes.”
