Game of Thrones' Michelle Fairley Joins Starz's The White Princess
Michelle Fairley is taking on the role of Margaret Beaufort in the Starz limited series The White Princess, TVGuide.com has learned.The series is a follow up to 2013's The White Queen and will chronicle England's War of the Roses from the perspectives of the women involved. Both series are based on the The Cousins' War book series by Philippa Gregory. Fairley will be playing the mother of Henry VII -- a "mastermind behind [Henry's] ascent to the throne," a philanthropist and murderer.
