今年8月份，当“囧叔”乔恩•斯图尔特(Jon Stewart)离开主持了16年的脱口秀节目《每日秀》时，不少小伙伴们都发出感慨：美国大选近了，囧叔走了，谁来吐槽下届美国总统啊?

　　不过3个月后，闲不住的囧叔准备复出了。《赫芬顿邮报》11月3日报道，囧叔和HBO电视网签订了4年的合约。而HBO目前最有名的产品，莫过于《权力的游戏》了。

　　囧叔将会制作吐槽时事热点的短视频，放到HBO Now的服务平台上播放。他表示：“每晚在电视上做22分钟的节目太累了，但是几分钟的节目还是可以的。”在新的合约下，囧叔还将可以和HBO一同制作电视剧和电影。脑洞大开的网友们随即浮想联翩，不知道囧叔出现在《权力的游戏》里面，会是个什么效果。

　　囧叔的主持风格诙谐幽默，节目内容针砭时弊，和政客们谈笑风生。美国总统奥巴马更是7次出现在《每日秀》中。2008年10月28日奥巴马出席节目时的收视率达到了历史最高。当时节目播出时距奥巴马第一次竞选美国总统只有6天的时间，该节目的观众人数达到357.7万人。

　　The next phase of Jon Stewart’s career will take him to HBO where he’s signed a productioncontract for four years, the cable channel announced on Tuesday (Nov 3).

　　Stewart’s first project will be the creation of “short-form digital content” in which he riffs on“current events through his unique prism,” HBO said.

　　The short videos will appear on HBO Now, the channel’s streaming service. It’s unclear how muchmaterial Stewart will turn out, but his content will be “refreshed” multiple times a day, accordingto HBO’s statement.

　　“Appearing on television 22 minutes a night clearly broke me,” Stewart said in a statement. “I’mpretty sure I can produce a few minutes of content every now and again.”

　　Under the terms of the deal, HBO and Stewart could also develop television programs or films.

　　Stewart started hosting "The Daily Show" in 1999 and left in August. He had a role on HBO’s “TheLarry Sanders Show” earlier in his career.

　　The most-watched “Daily Show” ever remains an October 29, 2008, episode during which Sen.Barack Obama paid Stewart a visit, which lured 3.577 million viewers overall.
