David Beckham Defends 4-Year-Old Daughter Harper Wearing A Pacifier: “You Do What Comforts Them”

　　老贝辩护为什么四岁的女儿哈伯还戴着奶嘴：“我在哄她开心”

　　“Why do people feel they have the right to criticize a parent about their own children without having any facts ??”

　　“为什么人们总觉得自己在不了解任何事实真相的时候就有权利批评某些父母对孩子的行为呢??”

　　This week pictures emerged of 4-year-old Harper Beckham sucking a dummy as she walked with her father, David.

　　这周传出了几张四岁的哈伯·贝克汉姆含着奶嘴和她爸爸老贝走在一起的照片。

　　A report from the Daily Mail used the pictures to criticise the Beckhams for allowing her to do so, and even quoted an expert who claimed it could have damaging effects on their daughter.

　　But now David has taken to his Instagram account to hit back at critics, insisting that they “have no right” to judge him as a parent.

　　日报的一个报道根据这招照片批评了老贝让他女儿含奶嘴的行为，甚至引用了一位声称对七公主后果严重的专家之言。不过现在老贝在Instagram对批评家们做出了回击，他坚称他们“没有权利”评判他的育儿之道。

Everybody who has children knows that when they aren’t feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best and most of the time it’s a pacifier so those who criticize think twice about what you say about other people’s children because actually you have no right to criticize me as a parent …

　　老贝的回应：为什么人们总觉得自己在不了解任何事实真相的时候就有权利批评某些父母对孩子的行为呢??所有有孩子的人都知道，当小孩儿不舒服或者发高烧的时候，你要做能哄他们的事情，大部分时候是给她们奶嘴，所以想要批评的人最好在说别人家的孩子之前要三思，因为你没有权利批评我的为父之道。

　　In any case it’s pretty evident the Beckhams are amazingly good parents.

　　在任何情况下老贝都显然是无敌好父亲。
