文化和旅游部4日下午在国新办发布中国游客赴美旅游安全提醒。近期，美国枪击、抢劫、盗窃案件频发。文化和旅游部提醒中国游客充分评估赴美旅游风险，及时了解旅游目的地治安、法律法规等信息，切实提高安全防范意识，确保平安。本提醒有效期至2019年12月31日。(新华视点)
The Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued a warning for its citizens on Tuesday to exercise caution before going to the U.S. on tourist visits. The alert comes after recent criminal cases including mass shootings, robberies and thefts occurred in the U.S.. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) also reminded Chinese citizens to improve safety awareness and stay alert when visiting the U.S., said a spokesperson on Tuesday at a regular press briefing.
