  More and more Chinese high school and college graduates are finding creative ways to celebrate their graduation, such as by taking graduation photos, traveling, learning how to drive, dining out, and seeking micro-plastic surgery. The innovative ways of bidding farewell to school life have given rise to a wide range of business opportunities.

  A survey by Ctrip, China’s top tourism service provider, has found that 70 percent of Chinese parents think traveling is the best gift to give to their children. More than half, or 55 percent, are willing to pay about $1,470 for that experience, and 15 percent are willing to pay over $2,940.

  由中国领先的旅游服务网站携程网进行的一项调查发现,70%的家长认为旅游是给孩子最好的礼物。超过半数(55%)的家长愿意为此支付1470美元(约1万元),15%的家长愿意支付2940美元(约2万元)。

  A high-quality travel experience has won favor of Chinese born after the 1990s. A report by China’s online travel agency giant Tuniu.com has indicated that 41 percent of graduates spent about $440-735 on graduation travel, and 8 percent spent less than $145. The average payment for travel was around $490.

  高质量的旅游体验赢得了中国90后的青睐。中国网上旅游巨头途牛网的一份报告显示,41%的毕业生在毕业旅行上花了大约440到735美元,8%的人花费不到145美元。平均旅游费用约为490美元。

  Chengdu, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Xi’an, Xiamen, Kunming, Nanjing. and Wuhan are the most popular travel destinations.
