Like Gunther or Janice, Ugly Naked Guy was one of those brilliant peripheral characters in Friends that fleshed out the world of this sitcom. Ugly Naked Guy was a man who made his presence known by not being on screen.
像甘瑟或者珍妮斯，丑裸男也是《老友记》中精彩的小角色之一，充实这部喜剧片。丑裸男是经常出现但没露脸的角色。
丑裸男住在Monica和Rachel公寓的对面，从客厅窗户看过去，他的一举一动都在老友记六人行的“窥视”之下。他的众多壮举——比如坐个沙发把猫压扁了，比如邀请了丑裸女共进感恩节晚餐，都被大家津津乐道，剧里剧外都是相当经典的笑料。
后来Ross要租下了他的公寓(当然为了得到丑裸男的公寓，其中的羞耻play看剧的你们都懂得)，他就再没出现过了……
In the Poking device and final episode, the Ugly Naked Guy did make fleeting appearances... but we never saw his face, only his large naked back. But he certainly made his mark.
在《the Poking device》和最后一集，丑裸男出现了，但是没有露脸，只有他宽阔裸露的后背。但是他的确取得了不凡的成就。
