Mihaela Noroc, 29, embarked on her project titled “Atlas of Beauty” in 2013 to show that beauty can be found anywhere in the world. Her original campaign consisted of traveling the world for 15 months and visiting 37 countries that included Ecuador, Peru, Australia and Iran.

From the streets of San Francisco to the Tibetan plain, Noroc found females in upscale cities, backward villages, Communist capitals, ISIS-bordering territories, in caves, cliffs and under clefts to bring us, what she calls, the ultimate definition of beauty.
