　　Hello, everyone,

　　I'm honored to show you around Dujiangyan tomorrow. To help you have a knowledge of it, I'd like to make a brief introduction to it.

　　Dujiangyan, with a long history of over 2000 years, is an ancient irrigation system situated in the Chengdu Plain, Sichuan Province. Once the plain was often flooded by the Min River which rushed down from the Min mountains. Therefore, Li Bing, one of the governors for the state of Qin, together with his son, headed the construction of the irrigation system, Dujiangyan. It not only acts as a way to prevent flood and irrigate the crops but also a kind of transportation. Now it's listed as a World Heritage Site as well as a AAAAA tourist attraction. Meanwhile, it's the oldest irrigation system in the world that is still in use today.
