　　Many people enjoyed Captain America: Civil War. Many people did not enjoy Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. But the new Honest Trailer for Civil War poses the two superhero films are really not so different.

　　In its tongue-in-cheek critique, the clip pokes fun at the Civil War villain’s convoluted strategy, the retread ground of heroes fighting heroes — and even the Steve Rogers/Bucky shippers.

　　The heart of the take rests with the similarities between Civil War and DC’s spring flop, as both feature “tricking a symbol of America into fighting a billionaire playboy, using an incoherent plan that includes blowing up a meeting of government officials, and using the heroes’ moms to manipulate them … and sets up a universe worth of spinoffs along the way.”

　　When in doubt, just throw on the epic airport fight scene to forget about flaws. Just don’t worry about the aftermath of the plot: “What, you thought there’d be lasting stakes?” the trailer asks. “C’mon, this is Marvel we’re talking about!”
