　　Each member of the quartet debuted in Season 6. Morgan plays the villain Negan, who first appeared in the season finale. Berkeley plays Gregory, the leader of the Hilltop colony who has become an uneasy business partner of the heroic Alexandrians.

　　Payne plays Paul "Jesus" Rovia, a resident of Hilltop who befriends the Alexandrians. And Amelio is Dwight, a member of Negan's group the Saviors who has had repeated run-ins with Daryl (Norman Reedus).The promotions are not a surprise, as most Walking Dead actors start as recurring before joining the main cast, but it does give a sense of who might be around for awhile on the show.These four additions bring the main cast to 20 members, the highest in the show's history.
