就在《X战警：天启》公映几天后，FX在周二宣布其已经预定了X战警电影系列的电视衍生剧《军团》。

　　由冰血暴的制作人诺亚霍利和漫威公司的杰夫·罗布共同担任执行制片人，《军团》继承着漫画里的角色David Haller(军团的本名，丹·史蒂文斯饰演)，一个青年时期被诊断患上精神分裂症而饱受困扰的男人。在漫威的漫画里，大卫是“X教授”查尔斯·泽维尔和Gabrielle Haller的变种儿子。在FX改编剧本第一季的八集里，他一直努力恢复理智而让自己十分疲惫，直到遇到一个相同情况的病人，受到启示，也许他所听到的声音和看到的画面并不完全在他的脑子里。
