　　Hugh Jackman is continuing his streak of appearing in every X-Men movie to date (if you count or ignore Deadpool’s not-really-a-legit cameo). This news, if true, confirms rumors that Jackman’s Wolverine would have a role in the film. And given the character’s send-off moment at the end of X-Men: Days of Future Past (in the 1973 era segments) where his body is recovered from the water and taken away by Mystique, that cliffhanger absolutely needed to be addressed.

　　HH founder and Editor-in-Chief Umberto Gonzalez reported a year ago that Jackman and Channing Tatum’s Gambit would cameo and now adds that Jackman wasn’t originally going to be in Apocalypse (despite last year’s that he was going to cameo) but after a story pitch from director Bryan Singer late in production, Gonzalez claims that Jackman was sold on the idea and so they shot new sequences featuring him. So the the real news here is that Fox is revealing him in the trailer before the movie debuts.
