　　Norman Reedus on 'Walking Dead' Finale: 'We Had Crew Members Crying'

　　Natalie Morales and Tamron Hall sat down with Norman Reedus on Today and discussed the cliffhanger finale of The Walking Dead. The show has received criticism for leaving fans in the dark about which character new villain Negan kills. “Cliffhangers have been happening since, you know, the beginning of entertainment,” Reedus said. “They make sense. I know what happens. It’s gut-wrenching to me.”

　　Reedus, who knows how the rest of the scene with Negan plays out, discussed the reactions of various members of the cast and crew. “All of us had reactions to it,” Reedus told Today. “I think Josh [McDermitt] threw his script. Andy [Lincoln] was late for work because he couldn’t sleep. Lauren [Cohan] broke out into tears. We had crew members crying. It’s heavy.”

　　Morales spoke about the closeness of the cast, who have all remained tight-lipped about the finale. Reedus elaborated, saying that losing a character mirrors our reality. “It’s like real life. You feel you have an infinite amount of time with everybody, and you don’t,” the actor said. “It’s sort of the genius of the story.”
