　　Following the theatrical release of director Tim Miller’s stunning box office success from earlier this year, Deadpool has gone on to become the highest grossing R-rated movie of all time, having earned well over $700 million globally thus far, marking it as a higher domestic earner than its competing Marvel associated bedfellows Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy. In the wake of its well neigh unprecedented success with general audiences thus far, Miller’s film is set to reach DVD/Blu-ray this May, coming replete with an Unrated cut and a bonus after credit sequence originally planned for the production’s initial release.

　　According to Heroic Hollywood, Reynolds has just finished renegotiating his contract with Deadpool distributor 20th Century Fox in order to up his individual salary for future franchise appearances, including his return to the role of Wade Wilson in Deadpool 2. With said business completed, the task of filming Deadpool 2 should now be able to get underway starting in Fall 2016, in order to make a 2018 theatrical release date; most likely, the January 2018 date that Fox currently has set aside for some as yet (officially-speaking) unidentified X-Men movie.
