Reed Diamond’s Dr. Werner Reinhardt, better known as Daniel Whitehall, is returning to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in episode 16 of the current season, titled ‘Paradise Lost.’ Whitehall was killed by Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) previously, after the villain harvested the organs from the mother of Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) to make himself young again. What role he will play in the episode is largely unknown, whether its simply flashbacks or some larger storyline aimed to involve HYDRA in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War.
