Netflix's New 'Daredevil' Season 2 Trailer Is All About Elektra

　　The Man Without Fear gets a visit from a past love in a new Daredevil Season 2 trailer released Thursday.

　　Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a.k.a. Daredevil, is approached by his former flame Elektra (Elodie Young), who wants his help in taking out the yakuza in New York City.

　　Murdock insists that he already did this, but she tells him that they have simply sat back and watched as he took out all of their competition. The trailer also gives fans a brief look at the return of Murdock’s former mentor, Stick (Scott Glenn).

　　Murdock now finds himself trying to balance his feelings for Elektra, battling The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), and trying to assure Foggy (Elden Henson) that he is capable of being a hero without getting killed.

　　Marco Ramirez and Douglas Petrie serve as co-showrunners on the series in addition to executive producing. Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb also serves as executive producer.

　　Steven S. DeKnight served as the showrunner on season one of the series. Recently, he was chosen to direct the action sequel Pacific Rim 2, taking over for Guillermo del Toro. del Toro remains involved in the sequel as a producer alongside Legendary Pictures’ Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni, as well as Mary Parent.

　　Daredevil Season 2 premieres on Netflix March 18.
