《闪电侠》终于从冬歇中回归了，这集中闪电侠团队发现他们要对抗的是一个与极速者正相反的慢速者。这个反派绰号“乌龟”，用巴里的女友帕蒂作为诱饵抓捕闪电侠，这使巴里处于一个很为难的境地，因为这提醒了他每个他爱着的人都会被坏蛋利用来对抗他。结果他并没有向帕蒂坦白他的超级英雄身份因为这会使他俩关系处于很大的压力之下，最终帕蒂称她要离开中城并离开巴里。

　　然而这集里面也有被看好的一面，因为他们抓住了“乌龟”就有希望能够利用他操纵时间的力量来对抗死对头“极速”。

　　'The Flash' Returns With Goodbyes

　　The Flash returned from winter hiatus and the gang found themselves battling the exact opposite of a speedster, a slowster. The bad guy, whose nickname is Turtle, uses Barry’s girlfriend Patty as a bait to catch the Flash. This puts Barry in a tough spot because it reminds him that anyone he loves can be used against him by bad guys. As a result he doesn’t confess his superhero identity to Patty which puts the relationship under a lot of stress. In the end Patty announces that she is leaving Central City and Barry. There is one bright side in that they captured the Turtle and hopefully will be able to use his powers of time manipulation to defeat arch nemesis Zoom.
