　　At the 2016 TCA winter press tour Saturday (Jan. 16), FX CEO John Landgraf revealed a couple bits of information about “Fargo” Season 3.

　　Airing in 2017, the third season of the critically-acclaimed drama will be set in 2010. It will also include one holdover character from the “Fargo” universe.

　　“As far as I know based on what [creator Noah Hawley’s] pitched so far there’s one [holdover character],” says Landgraf. “That doesn’t mean he might not change his mind and there will be more than one, but I can’t tell you which one it is.”

　　Landgraf was also asked about the spaceship plot in “Fargo” Season 2, which he likens to the fish raining from the sky in Season 1.

　　“I think one of [Hawley’s] points of view about what ‘Fargo’ is, going all the way back to the original movie that the Coen brothers created, is that random acts of God or unexplained or extraordinary phenomenon in essence are small in the face of the universe,” says Landgraf. “It’s part of what ‘Fargo’ is all about. If you’ll recall, it rained fish from the sky … I think him using the spaceships and the aliens in Season 2 is somewhat analogous to that.”
