　　The customer has found a pair of shoes she likes.

　　顾客找到了一双她喜欢的鞋子。

　　C: I'll try one of these on. ( The customer tries one of the shoes on. ) It's too big. It slides up and down my heel when I walk around.

　　顾客：我要试穿其中的一只鞋看看。(顾客穿上了其中的一只鞋。)它太大了，当我走动时，它就在我脚跟上下滑动。

　　S: Well, let's try a size six. (He gets another pair and the customer tries a shoe on) Looks like a perfect fit.

　　店员：嗯，那就试穿6号鞋看看。(我拿另一双鞋，而顾客试穿上一只。)它看来非常合适。

　　C: Not really. It pinches my toes.

　　顾客：不全然是，我的脚趾太紧了。

　　S: I'm sure they'll be fine once you break them in.

　　C: I don't know... well, I-guess I'll take them, since you don't seem to have anything better.

　　单词学习笔记

　　1.try on.../try...on 试穿(衣服、鞋子等)

　　例：Have you tried on that sweater Grandma sent you?

　　(你试穿过那件奶奶送给你的毛衣吗?)

　　2.slide vi.滑动

　　动词三种时态：slide，slid，slid。

　　例：Sally and Susan slid down the slope on their sleds.

　　(莎莉和苏姗坐着她们的雪橇从山坡上滑下来。)

　　3.up and down 上下地

　　例：The boys bounced up and down on the bed.

　　(那些男孩们在床上跳上跳下。)

　　4.walk around 四处走动

　　例：The tourist spent the afternoon walking around in the city.

　　(那名贶光客花了一个下午的时间在城里四处浏览。)

　　5.pinch vt. 挤压;捏

　　例：The naughty boy pinched his sister's arm.

　　(那个顽皮的男孩捏了姐姐的手臂。)

　　6.toe n.脚趾

　　7.I'm sure + (that) 从句 我确/相信……

　　例：I'm sure( that) you'll do well on the test

　　(我相信你会考得很好。)

　　8.break... in/break in... 将(鞋子)穿习惯

　　例：I'll still haven't broken in my new sandals.

　　(我还没穿惯新凉鞋。)

　　9.do business with sb 和某人做生意/买卖

　　例：I wouldn't do business with him if I were you.

　　(如果我是你就不会和他做生意。)
