A man has quit his job at Stansted Airport by baking his colleagues a resignation cake.

　　一名英国男子为自己的同事烘培一个辞职蛋糕，通过这种方式辞去了他在斯坦斯特德机场的工作。

　　Chris Holmes, aka Mr Cake from Cambridgeshire, delivered the cake to "The Management" at the Border Force in Stansted on his birthday on 15 April.

　　克里斯-霍姆斯，现在同样也是英国剑桥郡一位的蛋糕烘培师傅，在自己4月15日的生日当天将辞职蛋糕寄到了斯坦斯特德机场边防部的管理处。

　　In his message, he tells how he has reassessed his life and decided to go forward full-time with his business venture as a professional cake baker.

　　他在信息中说道，他重新审视了自己的人生，之后决定作为一名全职职业蛋糕烘焙师来继续他的事业。

　　The white iced cake reads: "Today is my 31st birthday, and having recently become a father I now realise how precious life is and how important it is to spend my time doing something that makes me, and other people, happy."

　　白色的冰皮蛋糕上写着：“今天是我的31岁生日，最近我才刚刚当了父亲。我意识到人生是多么的珍贵，花时间去做一些让我和其他人高兴的事情是很重要的。”

　　"For that reason I hereby give notice of my resignation, in order that I may devote my time and energy to my family, and to my cake business which has grown steadily over the past few years. "

　　Holmes' brother-in-law Stuart Jackson shared the picture of the resignation cake on Twitter, dubbing him "Jerry Maguire meets Masterchef".

　　霍姆斯的妹夫斯图亚特杰克逊在推特上分享了这个蛋糕的照片，并评论道“当甜心先生遇上厨艺大师”。
