5. Did John Stamos try to get the Olsen twins fired from Full House?

　　Celebrity Cafe is claiming that John Stamos admitted in an interview on a press tour for his new show Grandfathered that he definitely tried to have the Olsen infants fired from Full House for being a bunch of crybabies (literally: because they were babies who cried too much).

　　Apparently, when asked about the rumors on the red carpet, he said the claims were “100 percent accurate.” “They brought in a couple of unattractive redheaded kids,” Stamos said. “We tried that for a while and that didn’t work. [Producers] were like, all right, get the Olsen twins back. And that’s the story.”

　　Taken out of context, it’s possible that he meant it as a joke, particularly since it seems uncharacteristically crass of Stamos to describe any toddlers as “unattractive redheads.” You have to admit, though, it’s fun to imagine a 1992-era Stamos throwing a fit because he couldn’t work with babies.
