每个人总有不开心的时候。事实上,你可能有时会出现悲伤的情绪。那么怎样表达自己悲伤的感情呢?在你心情低落,或者面对心情沮丧的人的时候,你可以使用这些句型来表达自己的心情。
1、S(主语) + be + out of sorts
心情不佳。
I'm sorry. I'm out of sorts today. I'll be better tomorrow.
抱歉。我今天心情不太好。明天会恢复的。
Peter is out of sorts today. Ask him tomorrow.
皮特今天不太开心,明天问问他是怎么了。
2、S + do not + feel well
心情不好,觉得不开心。
Doug doesn't feel well today.
道格今天心情不太好。
The staff doesn't feel well about the changes at work.
员工对于工作上的变动而感到不快。
与此同时,用来表达悲伤的还有一些习语。
习语是与其字面意思不同的表达。
也就是说,It's raining cats and dogs并不是就意味着天上下了狗和猫的雨!
1、S + be + feeling blue about something
对某事感到难过。“蓝色”在英语文化中多是指“忧郁、悲伤”之意。
Jack is feeling blue about his relationship with his girlfriend.
杰克为了女朋友的事感到难过。
Our teaching said he was feeling blue about life last night.
老师说他昨晚思考人生,悲从中来。
2、S + be + in the dumps about something
对······感到沮丧。
We're in the dumps about our financial situation.
我们的财务状况很不好。
Kelly is in the dumps about her horrible job.
凯丽对她糟糕的工作感到很沮丧。
3、S + feel + down in the mouth about something
对······垂头丧气。和上面一个习语的意思差不多。
Keith feels down in the mouth about his relationship.
吉斯对于他的人际关系感到很沮丧。
Jennifer is down in the mouth this month. I don't know what's the matter.
詹妮弗这个月心情很是沮丧。我不知道是为了什么。
