英国人如此喜欢谈天气，自然语汇里也少不了跟天气有关的成语。比如“It rains cats and dogs”。虽然这个短语已经属于陈词滥调，很少使用，但中国学生还是都很熟悉的。我们来一个“英语天气成语”大盘点，看看你是不是都掌握了?
1.Bolt from the blue晴天霹雳
用来形容事情发生得如此突然，让人感到惊讶和措手不及。
例句：
The chairman was only elected a year ago, his resignation came as a bolt from the blue.
主席是一年前才当选的，他的辞职让大家感到突然和震惊。
2.To have a face like thunder火冒三丈
形容一个人非常生气，达到怒不可遏的程度。
例句：
I couldn't believe my eyes, he had a face like thunder when he came out of the manager's office this morning.
我简直不敢相信我的眼睛，他今天从经理办公室出来的时候满脸怒气。
3.To take a rain check改天吧，以后再说
表示当下不能做什么事情，但是不排除日后的可能。

形容非常罕见。
例句：
